A Very Merry Christmas...Indeed!

Merry Late Christmas, folks. Christmas time is always really stressful for me, between work and my tons of crazy family gatherings, it seems like I can never truly breathe until Christmas is over --- until this year. This was by far, one of the best Christmas holidays I've had in years. Many reasons why, but here is the bigger overview.

I actually had money to spend this year! I got everybody a little something, and I got the most important people in my life something that would make them smile, which makes me smile. Also, because this year seemed to be less-stressful overall. I had to work A LOT at the store, retail is always super busy and super annoying during the Holidays, but it was all good. So here is a run down of my Holiday madness. First, there was my work Christmas party, secondly there was my brother's breakfast on Christmas Eve Morning, followed by Christmas Morning at my Dads, followed by Christmas night at my grandmothers. Yeah, I know. It's a lot. Divorced families seem to have a wider range of activity during the Holidays.

During all of these shannigans, I got a cell phone, with a camera to document my entire life in a nutshell. And yes, that is how I've been using it. I received my cell phone in between Shannigans, so all of it is not captured but most of it is.
This would be my dad's -- after opening gifts and eating. Dixie, the dog, really wants to chill out.

My grams tree. Notice the presents are for a Yankee gift swap! Very exciting.
One of the lovely Yankee Swap gifts - My aunt has lovely wrapping skills. There was also many quirky gifts including 5 hour energy shots - a whole pack. I didn't get that one...
At my grammy's eating -- I meant to not get faces, I was focusing on the lovely decor on the lighting.
My Holiday festive drink spritzer. Wine + 7 up = YUMMYYYYYY.
This would be Rob's radar detector gift I bought him. I knew this was a present he would actually want and use...priceless.

AND NOW....for the grand finale...the mother of all Christmas-like things.....SNOWWWWWWW!!!

People from the south know snow doesn't happen very often, but it never ever never ever snows on Christmas.  In 50 years, no snow has been seen on a Christmas day in this southern town in South Carolina. Period. It snowed Christmas night, which was a huuugggee deal. Now, people NOT from the south will laugh at these photos, I know, simply because Rob is a northerner and laughs every time it snows down here....but yes, It was magical. It all melted by 3 PM yesterday...but still. This is the first white Christmas is my life. Awesomeness!!

And for the most embarrassing yet awesome photo yet.....
Nemo face. This was taken with my phone camera...with all of it's awesome template features. Lovely... :)

I forgot about my blog!

Oh yes, that is right people, I actually forgot about this blog. Now, I know I've never been a committed blogger, I'm trying to be, but I do know I'm scattered brained and mostly have 100s of things to do and only do about 10 of them. However, I really do regret not writing here more often. Why, you might ask? Well, really I do like blogging about myself. I consider myself as somewhat of a narcissist and I like to rant quite a lot. But, I did commit myself to making some cash online, so that grabbed my focus and I ran with it. I've been super busy with my real day job, yes I'm still there. As much as I bitch and moan about my clothing retail job.....I must feel some attachment, since I'm still employed there. I've had the opportunity to leave and yet and still...I'm there. Plus I've found Break Studios and Hubpages to be very exciting.

Break Studios and eHow have become my two main sources of income online for the past several months. eHow is still paying me a nice amount for my collection of articles, even though there is no longer any WCP at eHow.  I've hit $200 a month for the month of November. It could be more, if I had tweaked articles and edited keywords and what not. However, I'm really scared to even touch eHow since I am no longer in the WCP, as it closed down. I know they 'say' you can edit. However, I don't want to risk the whole 'clean sweep' thing since they've been edited again. They've made it this long...I'm sure they will survive. It's really sweet now though, I don't even do anything anymore and still watch the money roll in. I LOVE PASSIVE INCOME! Break Studios is working nicely for me, simply because it's easy and fast and it's 8 bucks an article. I know I could be getting more, but it takes less time to write an article for BS than it does anywhere else and make that kind of money for jotting down a few ideas and spell checking in between. Call me shallow.

Hubpages has also been a nice challenge for me. It's so different from eHow or any other writing site. I have since learned about affiliate marketing and I'm dabbling in that. I also find Hubpages amazing for the layout of each 'hub' or 'capsule'....whatever you want to call it. It's a free way to write about what you want...when you want...and not worry about editing or anything else. Plus, I have made some money off of Amazon so far. BUT, I haven't had any hits off of Google. I only have 29 articles, so I need to push more. Not what I was hoping for by now, but life isn't planned either. So in all, I'd say 2010 wasn't a bad year for my income online. I'm planning on focusing on Hubpages much more in the new year.

And for my blog, yes, it needed a makeover and I really like the layout. This one is a keeper. I feel so guilty for forgetting about this blog. I'm amazed I have MORE followers than I did before. Thanks for reading my crazy-talk.
