My New Work - Evangeline Lilly Work Out Part 2

Soo, it's been a full two weeks of my Evangeline Lilly work out, and *drum roll* -- it's paying off. I found that the more you do it, the less hard it becomes. This might be a problem, because I don't want to hit a slump either in working out. So, I've decided more reps and switching it up every so often won't hurt.

Couple of things I've learned. Number one, it's way easier to do the workout AFTER running instead of before running. It might be different for other people, but running gets my blood pumping, so I actually FEEL like doing the exercises after, as compared to doing them BEFORE running - makes me have less energy to will to finish out my running.

I exercise for an hour, each time. It mainly goes:

Running 20-30 minutes at 4.0 or 4.5 mph (depending on what I feel like)

Followed by the structured workout plan - FOUND HERE - http://www.womenshealthmag.com/fitness/workout-for-great-arms (for those who didn't get the link the first time).

The exercises include -- (Well, here's my take...)
Forward Lunges - 2 sets of 6-8 for each leg
Downward Facing Dog - Lasting up to 2 minutes, and modifying it by lifting each leg.
REAL Pushups - I had to start slow, but am doing 2 reps of 10 each time.
Forearm Side Plank - Looks easy - it's really not.
Limb Raises - I actually love these and do a double rep just because my back feels so much better after doing them.
The Boat Pose - It looks really easy but it actually will make your abs BURN. It's great for your core strength and back. Try it out, you'll see the difference.
The Plank Pushups - I hate these, but I'm finding it's really helping strengthen my back, and abs at the same time. I do about 2 reps of 6-8

Then I stretch for about 10 minutes.

Overall, seeing as how I have to find time to workout, I do it about 3-4 times a week if not more (when I can) and I have to say, my arms are starting look *insert British voice* "fabulous" and the experiment is going well. I'm determined to finish the 6 weeks of it and then just go back to running. LOL. I found it very interesting at the amount of people looking for "The Evangeline Lilly Workout".

There it is, folks.
